>The international law (German: Voelkerrecht = people's law) Bush is now
>acting against is written down in the charta of the United Nations.
Baloney! Nowhere in the UN charter does it say that the USA can not use
military force unless the UN says it is OK, if it had said that there is no
way on God's green earth the Senate of the United States would ever have
ratified the treaty and America would never have joined the UN in the first
place
>Now, the UN has not approved of a preemptive war
True.
>so Bush is acting against international law.
No, it means the UN will not be engaged in a preemptive war, it says nothing
about individual nations doing it. By the way, why do you call the UN
suggestions such as resolution 1441 a "law"? To be worthy of the name a law
needs to be enforced and the Security Council has proven incapable of that,
and that is why International Law is a joke and Americans are unwilling to
bet their life on it.
>your country has lost friends by the dozens.
No we have not lost friends, we have lost sympathy for 911 but that sympathy
did us absolutely no good, they were willing to cry for us but that is all.
Actually this recent UN business has been useful, it helped the us determine
who our real friends are and knowledge is always better than ignorance.
