As It happens I know of two instances where the producer decided to just
chuck it and go to mexico with his money and live out the rest of his life.
One case was a telecommunications building manufacturer....(several million
dollars a year sales...50 or 100 employees)..........in the other case it was
a pleasure boat manufacture....(no idea how large).
The owners finally got fed up with the red tape, the taxes and goverment
harassment. (EPA, Osha, yadda, etc etc) and closed up shop...took their
money...and went to Acapulco (or somewhere) to live a stressfree life with
their money.
Meanwhile lots of folks ( trickle down don't you know) are out of work.
