While there are certainly libertarians on both sides of the issue,
there is a "standard" libertarian stance: non-intervention. The
platform and the party are pretty clear in opposing any military
action that is not a direct response to a direct attack or immenent
threat on our soil. The party was generally silent about Afghanistan,
but they've come out clearly against going to war in Iraq in all their
recent press releases.
