I have no objection to America bashing, indeed that country has done things that deserve to be bashed; but before we start postulating the existence of warmongering genes unique to Americans I think we should set things in perspective. At every point in history some country has been on top, at the present time that unfortunate position is filled by America, tomorrow it will be filled by somebody else. I say "unfortunate" because the top spot is never EVER, at the focus of universal love. If the many worlds interpretation of Quantum Mechanics is correct then there is an Earth where France is in the position the USA is in now and dominates the world culturally, economically, and the French army is far more powerful than the armies of all the other countries on the security counsel combined. Be honest now, do you really think that would be a happier planet than the one you are familiar with? There are other planets in other universes where Germany is top dog, and Russia, and China, and Japan, and even Iraq, would you be comfortable changing places with any of them?
