No, but he did read my two pop sci books on the topic. As the quote on
http://www.panterraweb.com/the_spike.htm shows, he liked my Singularity
argument so well he wrote in his latest edition of PROFILES OF THE FUTURE
(1999) that
"Damien's book [THE SPIKE] will serve as a more imaginative sequel to the
one you are reading now." (p. 148)
He also called THE LAST MORTAL GENERATION "this truly mind-stretching book"
(p. 189).
So I think it's reasonable to suppose that he's extremely open to these
prospects.
