    In the current issue of Free Inquiry, Arthur C. Clarke
    wrote a short article on the evils of religion. The
    last sentence in that article is "Welcome to the
    Singularity." Did he mean that in the same sense
    that it would be understood by Eliezer et.al.? The
    comment seems to be hanging out there in isolation
    like a nonsequitur. Damien or anyone else here know
    ACC well enough to post him and ask what he meant?
    Do you suppose he is reading extropians or SL4?
