If anyone knows the secret to that, such as the algorithm
always produces a factor of 9, please explain this one that
is far more eerie: those fire exit map thingies that have
a little X on them and the words "you are here".
Question please: how does it know that? How does it
know where I am? What about after I leave? If someone
else comes along, does it say "spike is somewhere else"?
Or does it somehow figure out who the new person is and
revert back to "you are here"? Is this one of those
universal surveillance things?
Oh dear, I often get the unsettling feeling that a hidden
you-are-here sign is watching me.
