I am not comfortable with the notion of a pedophile mond running rampant in an Upload Polity, harming other minds. At this point though, the subject seems pendantic and akin to mediavelists contending on how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

I think it is the only area in which he fails morally. The Omega Point is meant to be "all powerful" in a sense, so it can certainly impose conditions of universal consensual protective shielding. Ethically this issue stands out in Tipler's book as an anomally. How many angels can dance on the head of a pin was a little bit more of a pedantic issue I think...
