Lee Corbin scents a conspiracy:
> Yes, I heard about this on a right-wing talk show this morning.
> I also heard that Jordan and Turkey are supporting the U.S.
> moves against Iraq, and that a poll showed that 77% of Americans
> listening to Bush's speech agreed with his stand on Iraq.
>
> But you can listen to radio all day long, tuning in to ABC News,
> CBS News, or NBC news, and you'll hear none of this.

Washington

against Saddam Hussein, boosting American diplomatic efforts to secure UN
backing for war and further isolating France and Germany.
The move came as the Bush administration accelerated its diplomatic efforts
to persuade allies to adopt a unified position on Iraq, while emphasising
that the President's decision on whether to launch an attack is only weeks
away. [and so on]
