Are you serious?
I have yet to meet somebody who believes that the cold war was won by
the wrong side.
And to say that the European Social Democratic movement is a complete
failure is also something of a strech (btw. I am not a SD). As far as I
know, the European countries are, for all practical purposes, as wealthy
as the americans.
European politics might not be idealisticaly pure, but they do work on
the real world.
There is little doubt that a free market can be more efficient. But it
has yet to be shown that a more free market, and a little more money,
gives people a significant higher quality of life.
And even though the Europeans are not as eager to go to war, we are
rapidly accepting new countries into the EU. Including many former
eastern european contries.
We might not spend as much money on the military, but we do spend a LOT
of money integrating former enemies.
Imagine that, a powerfull region achieving peace through trade and
cooperation.
