On the other hand we have moved on, have we? It does introduce a lot of
transhumantech themes in a rather sympathetic if somewhat bemused way,
but it does not put transhumanism on any particular footing.

_The Spike_ by a certain Damien Broderick is maybe more up-to-date.

I think David Brin's _Transparent Society_ might be a bit heavy, but it
is a wonderful defense of the open society and a good starting point to
discuss privacy, technology and what kind of society we would like to
live in.

What about Lee Silver's _Remaking Eden_?
