Avatar, I want to think of ways to do this sort
of traffic upgrading while staying compatible with
older forms of transportation. Keep in mind that
we still have hobbyists puttering around in 100 year
old model T Fords. Fifty years from now, assuming no
singularity, we will still have model Ts, as well as
plenty of the kinds of cars now coming outta Detroit
and Takaoka.

If we had the luxury of starting from scratch, we
could design a transportation system without all
the headaches we are now stuck with. But we dont
have that luxury. spike
