I absolutely cannot grasp how anyone who understands
the implications of true genetic engineering could
possibly buy into racism... Can anyone explain this?
Like, if anyone could replace their personal somatic
genes piecemeal over a few months with those of a
certain Herr Schicklegrubber - as some of these people
would doubtless like to do, then they could also
presumeably enhance those genes to grow taller,
faster, smarter, limited only by the structural limits
of Carbon-based molecules and the sophistication of
the understanding of how the systems work.
If you can BE Hitler, or Greta Garbo, or Iman, or
Mother Theresa - as far as your genes and eventual
physical appearance goes, and as far as all that
influences your temperment, etc., then of what
possible importance could it be that once you were
black or male or female or human....??? Genetic
engineering is the absolute and final death of racism.
I hope.
Of course, then maybe people will chose to be Magic
Johnson or Jessica Alba and form teams to kill
opposing parties.....
