I can remember much of my childhood quite clearly and have a
strong sense of continuity of self from then 'til now.
Most importantly I remember playing on the floor with some toys
and getting my first glimpses of "me".....kinda like "wait a minute" who
is that? Again, who is that? I remember being quite confused by a
simultaneous awareness of the "me" and "outside things" beginning.
Since the floor is definitely our 2nd house I must have been
around 2 years old.
I have a few memories from our first house only, but only pictures
of the stairs to the upper flat, etc.
