Yes, and this is good, but the questioning has some way to go before one
can safely say it is even-handed: transhumanists and Extropians have a
few sacred cows of their own, and questioning these areas of dogma gets
short shrift. We all know what they are. To be consistent in our hard
questioning may be too much to stomach, but I feel that one should at the
very least be open about it and declare certain areas as axiomatic, rather
than seeking to give weak justifications. We owe it to ourselves.
