Well, that is a tall order and will depend a lot on the available
technology. I would say it is equivalent to the uploading problem
(if you have the technology to do the scanning, writing it into
an artificial brain would be fairly simple) and likely requires
mature nanotech. You need to scan the brain for its connectivity,
the synaptic weights and perhaps other factors we at present
don't know much about.

Exactly. It would be interesting to see how fast the divergence
occurs.
