That's because there are two different kinds of depression:
1. bipolar (Lithium carbonate drug treatment) and
2. unipolar ("pep" talk-treatment, drugs like prozac, cognitive psychology).
I am of the cognative school, who believe "pep" talks are not efficacious.
"Pep" talks are NOT cognative psychology. Bipolar depression CANNOT (should
not) be treated by cognative psychology.
