That is the problem, isn't it? Unfortunately, people have limited bandwidth
and they don't strain it very hard on the input side (though many people
do a bang-up job on the output side). There is an awful lot of information
out there to be kept track of, and Hayek has a lot to say about this
particular problem and the various cultural modes that have developed so
far to deal with this information-distribution problem. But it is not an
easy problem, and the fact that it is so difficult *is* one of the
fundamental flaws of democracy which *cannot* be so easily corrected,
despite your glib assertion to the contrary.
