This is explained in the novel 'Jitterbug Perfume'. It talks about
perfumes having a low, middle, and high note, like a musical chord.
Jitterbug perfume also has a great longevity formula: meditation secrets
taught by mystical monks, combined with frequent bathing followed by
exposure to cool air (lowering body temperature), and frequent
nonprocreative sex.
