Cloning chip

Friends,

First cloning was impossible, then it wasn't. Then it
was performed with a low success rate, then not so
low. At first it was done by hand, with all the delay
and variablity that implies.

Now automation, standardization, reproducability, high
throughput, (and high success rates?), etc loom.

Of course. Onward!

Pity the poor luddites.

As soon as the methods and materials were described, I
got a blast of visualization, (complete with thoughts
about improvements). I can't wait to see pictures of
the real thing.

Best, Jeff Davis
