Friends, we gather here today to mourn the e-passing of one Mike
Lorrey, or as he was known by his neighbors, "Gun-Nut Mike."
Mike was a person who was able to blend the seemingly disparate worlds
of the gun-toting New England hillbilly mechanic with the rarefied
hi-tech ouerve of the computer programmer, and the protectionist blue-
collar, kitchen-table economist with the Extropian globalist-
freemarketeerist.
Although we here will no longer be able to grin at his fiery email
antics here on this list, we know that somewhere out in "meatspace"
Gun-Nut Mike is flipping off a government vehicle on the backroads of
New Hampshire ("damn revenooers!"), or dashing off a vitriolic
editorial letter to the local Thrifty Nickel newspaper.
May his electrons rest in peace.....
