I don't need every spare bit of matter to be thinking beings.   I am actually 
perfectly content for Jupiter to be a good catcher of stray comets and such 
for quite some time to come.   If I was going to convert it to thinking 
beings I think I could do a bit better than what we generally limite the term 
"people" to today.
