    Not at all. I hadn't thoroughly read the specific article Samantha was
    referring to. I did glance at it, and it seemed to contain no new
    information for me. The trotskyist notion was from some lewrockwell.com
    article.

    My view, in a nutshell: There are conservatives of various stripes, one
    of which is called neoconservatism. The shortest definition of a neocon
    is 'a liberal who's been mugged'. But I don't get the idea that
    neoconservatism is derived in meaningful measure from conservative values.

    Lee Corbin surprised me the other day with his 'what is PNAC?' question.
    It's not like a conspiracy, these people have their own website. Their
    views are clear. This has never been about WOMD, and this has been clear
    as fetus pee since this whole thing started. I shudder to think that I
    am the extropian who's done the most reading on this war. Discussions
    could be improved if we all agreed on a set of documents to be read
    prior to mouthing off here....
