John, it is kind of hard to figure what kind of a legal theory the anti US
crowd is attempting to advance. In our legal theory no American citizen
surrenders their right to defend themselves against danger. Nor do we
consider that our country or any country for that matter has ever surrendered
its right to defend its safety to the UN.
As to giving the inspectors more time as they suggest, nonsense. The
inspectors and Sadaam have had twelve years. The time to talk has passed,
now is the time to fight or to totally surrender. The US will be endangered
no more. After total surrender or defeat then it will be time to talk again.
