become a modern myth, an admirable piece of architecture, but never to be

    Humania,
I wonder if that is true. It does seem to be true that governments,
or at least ours, for the moment cannot pursue the dream of space travel.
It is not clear that the motivation for the government couldn't be
revived if some other country started to challenge us.
In addition about 5 years ago I saw the numbers on the total
international speeding on space. The numbers were very impressive. The
problem is that I haven't found a similar report since then. Can anyone help
me? Based on those numbers I felt that if private industry's space efforts
were climbing at that rate I really didn't care if the government was
    involved or not.
