    I wasn't noting the lawsuit, but the departmental investigation. If someone
    complained because a geology student got an F after claiming the earth is
    flat and made of cheese, would the department *investigate* the case against
    the professor? (For all I know, the answer's `yes' because they're obliged
    to go through the motions, however preposterous the allegation.)
