Oh yes, I've been aware of this fact for a very long time. :) Though I
would never dare to compare myself to Plato or Socrates, I do seem to be
made from the same philosophical stock. Arguments that smack of Sophism
tend to put a burr under my saddle. I am a firm believer in objective
truth in all matters of science and philosophy, including ethics and
morality.

However despite those differences I do actually like Lee as a person. I
wouldn't bother to spar with him otherwise. :-)

I've posted some other messages to make arguments in favor of Thomas
Jefferson's idea of natural law. Also see the messages from Mike Lorrey,
with whom I find myself in complete agreement.
