In keeping with the fine engineering principle of negative feedback,
how about "The Dribble Glass Awards" for technological stupidity?
Ridicule is my personal favorite form of memetic engineering, but I
suppose we could combine it with a positive award as well to give a
nod to optimism.

What's the opposite of a dribble glass? A simple, effective piece
of technology that does its job so well and so naturally that we don't
have to think about it? The ballpoint pen? The three-legged stool?
The knife? The funnel?
