My question is: where do they go if not to the mailing
list? For selfish reasons, I'd like to know of alternate
places to get Extropian news and information without having
to tread the mailing list or scour the web for bits of
ad-hoc information. Is there a centralized place to be
able to get this information on a daily basis? Like an
Extropian Daily Newspaper type of thing? (Yes, with
new news daily, of course.)
Sites that don't update multiple times a day aren't
high enough to make it to my radar ... I'm online
multiple times a day, and key information I have sent
to my pager, so maybe I'm just an instant gratification
snob ...

The one thing that slashsites have that the current
extropian mailing list doesn't have is moderation.
Perhaps a moderated extropians mailing list is the
simplest solution. One where only the "headline news"
gets approved and distributed -- discussion or other
follow-up goes to the normal extropians discussion
mailing list.
Of course, I'm sure E. Shaun is cringing at the idea
of having to find someone to actively moderate a
mailing list in a timely fashion ... heh.
