While I was searching for something else on NASA ADS, this abstract
(title only) appeared:
Title: The Magnetic Particle Plume Solar Sail Concept
Authors: Knuth, W. H.
Journal: Space Technology and Applications International Forum,
Proceedings of a conference held in January,
2000, Albuquerque, NM. Edited by Mohamed S. El-Genk.
New York: American Institute of Physics Press.
AIP Conference Proceedings, Vol. 504, 2000, p.1588
Publication Date: 00/2000
Origin: ADS
Bibliographic Code: 2000sta..conf.1588K
I was curious about what this was about, and with no abstract,
I google-searched a little on the title, but basically came up
empty. I saw some solar sail technologies listed here
http://science.nasa.gov/ssl/pad/solar/suess/Interstellar_Probe/ISP-MissionTech.h
tml
but nothing that referred to "The Magnetic Particle Plume Solar Sail".
Does anyone know what this 'concept' is? I'm curious.
