Actually, I have a link somewhere around here that an experience
pretty much identical to that of classic NDE can be had simply
by administration of the drug ketamine in amounts commonly used
for anaesthesia. It is usually cut with something else when
knocking people out for surgery precisely to keep them from
having these wild experiences. That the experience is so very
similiar can of course be taken as evidence that it is something
