DNB and Jungle

>From what I understand, Jungle is also the syncopated form of DNB. In the basic form of DNB, the kick is on the first beat and the & of 3 with the snare on the second and fourth beat. Yes, I understand that Jungle is a little faster and this is what makes it more unique than DNB. With Jungle, it is harder to play using live instruments because of its speed and intricate time changes. Also the cut-ups are amazingly artificial. DNB only seems to do cut ups for fill-ins and still keeps to 4/4 conventionally but of course, all good composers do not limit themselves to conventions. You pointed Talvin Singh which is a good example of one who transcends the limitations of a genre.
