Going on memory here {which let me down yesterday} but if I recall
20 year old calcs, there is one metastable Lagrange point in a
a planet/sun pair. But that assumes nothing orbitting the planet.
For that reason the Earth/sun system would have no stable
Lagrange points, but the Earth/moon system has one and I
think I recall hearing a report of junk being detected there. spike
