brain rewires itself using stem-cells following an injury.

Suggests there may be hope even in the event of pretty
poor cryonic suspensions (may even imply we may not need
nanotech to restore a suspended brain). Also bodes well
for increases in life-span. Its going to make the debate
over the creation of, and conducting research on, human stem
cells even more divisive.
