i don't see them releasing the source code any time soon. They were
"in the process of merging" to release the source over a year ago.
Now, i read the following in their yahoo group list (Admittedly, from
July this year, things might have changed):

so that minimises the use of anything they might release. (In any
case, they haven't released anything at all as of yet AFAIK).
