I had not complained at all. It was you who brought up "aerodynamics," not me.
The first and best practical idea for how to bring about a phase transition to
transhumanity is to stop wasting time and resources on the same old tired
rhetoric of politics as usual, and get on with actual transhuman subjects, for
example robot evolution. (For details, read messages with ROBOT in subject
line.)

Useless hypotheses, etc.:
consciousness, phlogiston, philosophy, vitalism, mind, free will, qualia,
analog computing, cultural relativism, GAC, Cyc, Eliza, cryonics, individual
uniqueness, ego, human values, scientific relinquishment, malevolent AI,
non-sensory experience

We move into a better future in proportion as science displaces superstition.
