Believe it or not in the current issue of The Bulletin Of the Atomic Scientists
is an article on stink bombs. The military has developed a substance given the
wonderful name "US Government Standard Bathroom Malodor", it's harmless
but according to a scientist working on the project " It really is quite pungent,
more precisely it smells like shit but much, much worse". It's never been used
in war but the army people think it could have a devastating psychological effect,
it's hard to feel like a epic hero when everything smells like a thousand people
just farted on you. It should be especially effective in caves and trenches. Hmm.
