I should have given some Leonids URLs, so here they are.
An overall guide from the Asher/McNaught group that does
a good job with the meteor predictions:
http://www.arm.ac.uk/leonid/index.html
The Dutch Meteor Society puts together a "planning" page
with locations, meteor counts, etc.
http://home.wanadoo.nl/dms/leonids/2001/leo_planning.html
The highest count predictions are thousands of meteors per hour.
The place to be on November 18-19 for the highest count storm
is Asia, Austrailia. (Japan might be best.) A more diffuse
Leonids storm is predicted to be visible in the US south east
south and southwest. Check the URL pages for details.
