Invasion is not the only tactic. Their goal isn't to occupy us, it is to
destroy that in us which they abhor and that which makes our culture
attractive to others. By destroying the high-trust standard of behavior
between citizens here through infiltration and terror tactics, they seek
to delegitimize us as a society worth respect and emulation. By doing
so, our culture becomes less attractive to others around the world, and
therefore, the perceived cultural assault on the fundamentalist muslim
worldview within the muslim world will subside.

They seek to drag us down to their level in tactics. This is the problem
with the tit-for-tat strategy. In the end, it is all about who wins the
propaganda war that determines what the perceptions are of who wins.
