because the "object" meme is so badly abused that IMO is

in dangerous. On the various occasions that I've had to
analyze an object-oriented implementation, I've been
very disappointed. Perhaps my experience is atypical?

Extropian relevance: Programmers are by necessity
users and implementors of formal logical systems. The
way these systems are built depend on the programmer's
training. We are by far the largest group of applied
philosophers. Poor tools and techniques degrade the
efficiency of our collective endeavor, which is the basis of
most current technical advances.
