No, I can not tell whether you are off the track, or not.
There are lots of "crazy" examples in the literature.
Those superpositions are subtle, projections are subtler,
counter-factualities are cunning. I must read some papers,
first. I hope I'll find the original paper about those
"three quantum boxes".
