Quite apart from their content (I agree with Mike Lorrey on that) I think it
is fair to describe this as evasive because Chomsky does not address the
substantive points Hitchens is making, about the nature of
Al-Queida/Islamist ideology. Instead he says "There's no point in talking
about H's comments because the way he talks about Sudan shows he isn't
serious". If that isn't evasive what is? Steve Davies
