about shipping vitamins to Germany ...

I knew that melatonin and some selected health supplements were not
allowed import into Germany, but I was not aware, before today, that
vitamins were not allowed either.

Apparently it is illegal to ship vitamins into Germany. My choice
today was to turn back the box of personal items with my vitamins that
I sent from the States a couple of months ago or else to authorize the
German customs people to destroy my vitamins. So I authorized the
customs people to destroy my vitamins.

(it's been one of those days)
