For the discussion of possible (practical) ways to prepare for/survive the Singularity, one can also join the transtopia list, at http://www.onelist.com/subscribe.cgi/transtopia That would (IMO) nicely supplement the more technical approach of the superint list.
Of course the list is also open for discussing any of the other topics mentioned in the description (see URL above), since they all are interconnected anyway.
