Of course, they could be investigating because these people
are *homeless* which might have consequences for minimum
wage, taxation, etc, but if they are investigating on the
grounds that these people weren't 'real' psychics it's
probably time to don your worrying hat.

Minds are more malleable than genes, or at least they are
for the moment, so bad memes can be weeded out without
resorting to the death penalty. Predictably, I think the
answer is the ever-versatile free market; more individual
responsibility should be enough to set 'em right.
