actually, i remember this from a cartoon, i'll be damned if i can remember
which one.
the owner of some company needed the planes in the air right now of another
company
to do something for him, so he tells his broker to sell every share of the
stock of the other
company at 1/3 price, then everyone on the market goes "oh shit, they know
something we
don't", and dumps all thier shares of it at a loss, and then the guy buys
up like 60% of the
company, and comes on the radio of the planes, and says "I'm your new boss,
here's what
i need you to do".
