What is the purpose of the Extropians List? Without even arguing pro or con on the politics of flag burning, is this an Extropian Issue? It seems that in the last few years the list has gone from discussing future technology to discussing current politics. I know that current politics will affect the future of technology, but what is it that makes this list different from Matt's other political lists? What is on-topic or off-topic? And does anybody try to enforce this?
