Although I don't agree with all of his conclusions, David Brin makes a pretty
good survey of issues of privacy and tranparency in his book, "The Transparent
Society". Also, the Foresight Institute is carrying on a web-based discussion
of Brin's book, and the general subject of privacy and transparency at:
