Victims of gender "reassignment" almost universally have many
psychological problems. Of course, without a controlled study,
there's no way to know that they wouldn't have had worse problems
without the procedure--but it isn't necessary to know exact
results of the procedure to stop it for moral reasons: It is
simply morally repugnant to mutilate a child without eir consent,
so whether or not it "works" is irrelevant. Such doctors
deserve jail time, not research grants.
