According to some Archeologists the water erosion patterns on the
sphinx are as a result of sustained rain, possibly associated with the
decline of the last ice age, probably somewhat more intense than the
rainfall that Cairo enjoys from time to time. BTW, very interesting though
all this may be, its not particularly " extropian" in content.
